We believe every horse should have the right to a life free of discomfort, pain and disease. It is our mission to help address the issue of horses suffering from the effects of excess smegma and/or urethral stones effectively and competently whilst providing unrivalled customer service.

INSURANCE
BEHA members are fully insured
THE LAW
BEHA members work within the law and adhere to the 1966 Veterinary Act at all times. That is to say, only a veterinary surgeon may diagnose a horse with a medical condition and recommend treatment based on that diagnosis. Our reputable hygienists will provide you with a vet referral report should any abnormalities be identified

TRAINING
All BEHA members attend regular lectures on Equine Reproductive Organ Health by an expert veterinary professional.
We welcome enquiries from vets, AI professionals, physiotherapists and saddle fitters who wish to participate in our members' training programme

CUSTOMER SERVICE
BEHA members pride themselves on the highest level of customer service. Bookings and visits are carried out with excellent communication and organisation. Members comply with GDPR legislation and always aim to provide excellent value for money.

BIO SECURITY, HYGIENE & RISK
BEHA members comply with the highest and most rigorous bio security and hygiene standards. As a minimum, new sponge, gloves and water changed between horses. No yards visited who have, or are suspected to have, infectious diseases. A dynamic risk assessment is carried out at every visit, with potential hazards highlighted and removed.
